In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top travel and local apps on the Android platform in Switzerland showed varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at their weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Polarsteps Travel saw consistent weekly downloads, peaking at around 3.7K by the end of December. Active users started at 50.4K, initially increasing to 56.6K in mid-October, before experiencing a gradual decline to 41.3K by the end of the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 2.7K and 3.8K. Active users began at 255K, dipped to 198.7K in early November, and rebounded to 253K by the end of December.

P+Rail experienced a spike in downloads, reaching a high of 3.4K in early December. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 31.7K, peaking at 32.5K mid-December, and ending at 25K.

SWISS showed a sharp decline in downloads from 5.1K in early October to around 1.1K in November, with a slight recovery to 1.5K by the end of December. Active users increased from 29.2K to a high of 35.5K in early December, before settling at 27.9K.

Parkingpay had a stable download pattern, with a notable increase to 2.5K in early December. Active users rose from 121K to a peak of 136K mid-December, closing the quarter at 117K.
